Workshop Description:

The Indigenous community is often understood to be suffering a mental health crisis, but this is not the case. The community is responding naturally to the violation of colonization. Community members and families are not sick, they are wounded. Thus, many clinical diagnoses can be defined as a “colonisation disorder.” This community crisis has a social cause and culturally rooted community-based “cure” rooted in Traditional values. Read more…
